With over 15 years of dedicated experience as a registered nurse and five years as a certified case manager, Jo-an has spent a career championing the well-being of older adults. A true caregiver at heart, she believes that every senior deserves a life filled with dignity, comfort, and joy, as well as a safe environment where they can truly thrive.
Driven by this mission, Joan founded The Elder Care Place, a resource designed to guide families through the often overwhelming process of finding assisted living and memory care communities. Through this initiative, she not only provides invaluable support to seniors and their families but also fosters a sense of community and connection.
Joan takes pride in making a positive impact, whether it’s through hands-on care or facilitating important conversations about aging. When not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and closest friends.
